Under her leadership, her choirs consistently received numerous first-place and superior ratings, as well as "Best Overall Junior High Ensemble" at festivals and competitions throughout New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Notably, her select treble ensemble, The Tigerettes, performed at Carnegie Hall and was invited to showcase at the Eastern Division conferences for the American Choral Directors Association (ACDA) and the National Association for Music Education (NAfME).
Throughout her career, Ms. Nagy was a two-time recipient of the New Jersey Governor's Teacher Recognition Award and was named Teacher of the Year at J.P. Case Middle School. She also participated in the prestigious Fulbright Teacher Exchange program, teaching at the Leweston School in Sherborne, England. As a sought-after vocal clinician, she continues to serve the choral community, having had the honor of guest conducting the New Jersey Junior High All-State Mixed and SSA Choirs, as well as the CJMEA Region II Intermediate Chorus.
Rosemary earned her Bachelor of Music degree from Westminster Choir College and holds a Master of Arts degree from Teachers College, Columbia University. An accomplished vocalist, she has performed with the New York Philharmonic, the Philadelphia Orchestra, the Juilliard Choral Union, and the opera chorus of the Princeton Festival.
She resides in Belle Mead, New Jersey, with her husband, Ron, their dog, Jet, and their two cats, Bella and Maestro.
